About Kathleen

As a longtime local with a diverse background in every facet of the resort industry, Kathleen Sedillo knows Vail. Since she fell in love with the Vail Valley after first moving from Western New York 30 years ago, she’s worked in every aspect of the resort industry from sales and marketing to property management and luxury rentals, not to mention achieving the highest-level certification from the Professional Ski Instructors of America after a career with the Vail Ski and Snowboard School that spanned over 20 years.

Kathleen’s trajectory into real estate was a natural one. In addition to her diverse professional background, she has traveled the world and loves to meet and connect with new people. Kathleen has the inside line and connections on everything Vail has to offer, from the best farm to table restaurant and the most picturesque ski run on the mountain to the trendiest après ski spot in the village and kid friendly adventures for the day, whichever season you are here. Her extensive local knowledge and personal experiences allow Kathleen to provide her clients with unsurpassed service and invaluable insights into the local real estate market.

Kathleen also has an ongoing commitment to the place where she lives, works and plays. She is a “hands on” member and Vice President of the Vail Valley Mountain Trails Alliance, literally getting her hands dirty volunteering to help build and maintain local trails. Her peers and industry leaders have also recognized her with noteworthy awards, including making Ski Magazine’s Top 100 Professional Ski Instructors list, Beaver Creek Resort’s Plus 1 Award for Outstanding Guest Service, and the Spirit of Beaver Creek Employee of the Year Award.

Her love affair with the Vail valley and her ability to make personal, lifelong connections have allowed Kathleen to serve those pursuing a home in the mountains of Colorado with an honest, passionate and sincere approach.

Kathleen lives in the Wildwood neighborhood of Avon with her husband Guy. The Sedillos are the epitome of the Colorado lifestyle and true outdoor enthusiasts. They enjoy alpine skiing, mountain biking, hiking and camping with their beloved dogs Ajei and Maggie.
