About Brooke

Brooke Horan-Kates was born and raised in the Vail Valley. She attended Vail Christian High School and went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Upon graduation, Brooke moved back to the Vail Valley where she met and married her husband JP, who is a Firefighter with the Denver Fire Department.

Brooke joined Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate in 2015, and has since teamed up with Aaron Rabins, as well as her mother, Pam, who has been with the company for 35 years. Together they work out of the Beaver Creek office and Brooke also maintains her business throughout the Vail Valley. Pam, Brooke and Aaron have transformed traditional real estate by providing uncompromised value to their clients with an approach that combines their three different perspectives to create a unique synergy. The team values the relationships they create over everything else.

Brooke lives in Eagle Ranch with JP, their 7-year old daughter Charlie, 6-year old son Jack, and their dog, Susan. You will find Brooke hiking with her dogs, mountain biking, camping with her family, working out, or simply spending time outdoors enjoying the Colorado lifestyle!
