About Kent

Kent moved to Colorado from Dayton, Ohio in 1978 to attend Western State College. During college he played football and enjoyed skiing Crested Butte. He graduated in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a double major in Marketing and Business Management.

After college Kent moved to Denver and developed an extensive sales background and continued his education. Kent worked for Federal Express for 13 years and pursued an M.B.A. He moved to Vail in October of 1995 and joined the team of Slifer Smith & Frampton where his corporate background, hard work and determination earned him Rookie of the Year honors in 1996. Kent has continued to maintain high production rankings in the company by receiving the prestigious "Eagle Award" as one of Slifer Smith and Frampton's Top Producing Brokers in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2009, 2011, 2015, 2018, 2019, 2020, and again in 2021. Kent was also recognized in 2004, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 as the Top Producing Broker in Cordillera. Topping his long list of achievements, Kent has also received his CRS designation, Certified Residential Specialist and GRI, Graduate Realtor Institute. In 2020 Kent was recognized by Realtrends.com as one of America's Best Real Estate professionals in the state of Colorado because of his sales volume in 2020 of $80 million . Kent is also a member of the Aspen MLS. He enjoy selling Real Estate from East Vail to Aspen.

Kent is the President and Founder of the Vail Polo Club. He enjoys utilizing his string of polo ponies by often showing his customers property on horseback. Some of his other passions are fly fishing, golf and skiing. Kent organizes local polo tournaments to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He also dedicates a weekend in September every year to organize and play in The Make-A-Wish Foundation Polo Tournament in Denver Colorado with his brother Scott. The most rewarding aspect of Kent's real estate career is the opportunity to establish long lasting friendships with his customers.

Kent lives in the beautiful Cordillera neighborhood, a fabulous golf community, which has been his home for over 20 years. He is also an active member of the Cordillera Golf Club. Kent speaks German and Spanish.
